Product Marketing Manager - AI Consumer Intelligence SaaS

About the Company

A fast-growing, seed-funded consumer intelligence platform that helps the world’s biggest consumer brands understand their consumers. It brings their internal knowledge, third-party data, and the open web together into one source of truth they can act on. It’s a lean, high-ownership team where your work has an immediate impact.

The Role

This is the company’s first dedicated product marketer. You’ll own conversion: mid-to-bottom funnel, product storytelling, and sales enablement. That means turning interest into pipeline and helping Sales close it. The buyer is a VP of Consumer Insights at an enterprise consumer brand. The sale is long-cycle, involves multiple stakeholders, and depends on trust. Your job is to make the platform’s value clear to that buyer in their own language. This is a hands-on seat: you set the positioning and build the assets yourself.

What You’ll Do

  • Own positioning and messaging, connecting each capability to a measurable outcome. That includes the answer to “why not just use ChatGPT?”
  • Lead go-to-market for new features across Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Build sales enablement: pitch narrative, decks, battlecards, objection handling, demo scripts, and demo videos
  • Create mid-to-bottom-funnel content: use-case pages, case studies, and comparison content
  • Own competitive intelligence vs. generic AI tools, social listening platforms, and direct competitors
  • Run win/loss and buyer research that shapes both the messaging and the product roadmap

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in product marketing at a high-growth B2B tech startup selling to enterprise
  • Experience positioning for senior data, insights, or analytics buyers
  • Experience building trust messaging (security, privacy, credibility) for data-heavy platforms
  • A track record of work tied to win rate, conversion, or influenced pipeline
  • Hands-on and fluent in AI-assisted workflows
  • High ownership and low ego, with a clear point of view

Nice to Have: CPG or consumer-brand familiarity, AI/data/research-tech fluency, experience building a PMM function from scratch

How We Work

In person in NYC. Evidence wins debates over opinion. You’ll be measured on win rate, conversion, adoption, and influenced pipeline, not lead volume. The interview process takes about 2-3 weeks and ends with you presenting your 90-day plan to leadership.

Compensation: $125K - $175K
