Our client builds the data layer for a niche vertical within the social/philanthropic sector, providing one of the most complete pictures available in that space. The company has thousands of customers using its paid and premium features and is scaling growth through go-to-market functions and product-led growth (PLG).

What We Are Looking For

Our client is looking for a Growth Lead to drive growth execution across marketing and product, in close partnership with product and leadership on strategy. This is a real product-led growth (PLG) role: copy, campaigns, experimentation, and the data to know what's actually moving. PLG mechanics are already in place, and the company needs someone who lives in the data, constantly iterating and optimizing. The biggest near-term opportunity is capitalizing on a large volume of AEO/SEO traffic hitting the company's core database product, converting it first to authenticated users and then to paying customers. Beyond that, there's also an opportunity to improve free-to-paid conversion for users who are already active on the platform but not yet paying, across the company's other products.

The sales motion converts reliably to meetings, deals, and subscriptions, but top of funnel is too narrow, with not enough leads being generated. You will shape how people discover the company, sign up, and get hooked. This role straddles marketing and product: you'll flex across content and operations, living and breathing conversion rate optimization, testing, and experimentation.

The team is looking for a mid-level self-starter who is genuinely good at the craft, excited to learn the rest, and operates like an owner rather than waiting for a brief. You'll work with an enormous dataset, a team that is deeply AI-forward in how it works every day, and a mission that actually matters: helping resources reach the organizations doing good in the world. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer.

Responsibilities

1. Drive top-of-funnel growth for the company's core database product, converting AEO/SEO traffic into authenticated users and then paying subscribers.
2. Improve free-to-paid conversion for users already active elsewhere on the platform.
3. Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and experiments across the funnel, using data to decide what to iterate on next.
4. Write and manage marketing copy and campaigns across channels.
5. Run and optimize the PLG mechanics already in place, using Heap, Hightouch, GA4/GTM, and HubSpot to track and improve conversion at every stage.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with product and sales to align growth initiatives with the broader roadmap and pipeline.

Experience

1. Mid-level experience in growth marketing, PLG, or a related role, with genuine curiosity to learn the rest.
2. Proven skill in copywriting and campaign execution, plus hands-on experience running A/B tests and experimentation.
3. Comfort living in the data: able to read performance data and know what to tweak to make an impact.
4. Experience with HubSpot, Heap, Hightouch, or GA4/GTM is a plus.
5. A quick study who can operate autonomously and takes pride in the quality of their work.
